Money Saving Tips

You are interested in creating and purchasing some custom apparel. First off, you have come to the right place — welcome! Second, you might have discovered that your ideas have caused the project to go over your budget. Here are some tips on how you can reduce the price per item.

Choose a different style.

We offer a range of products, and those items can be drastically different in pricing due to how much we purchase those blank items from our vendors. For example, a blank Triblend tee can cost 3 times the amount of a blank Basic Cotton Tee. So, choosing a lower-tier garment can help reduce your overall price.

Design with fewer colors.

We have detailed how ink colors increase pricing in a previous blog post. Simply put, the number of colors is a big factor in screen printing because each color requires an individual screen to be created. Try reducing the number of ink colors to 1 or 2 total colors to bring the price down. There are also creative ways to use the garment color in the design, which we can help with.

Add more pieces.

We get it. We are giving you tips on saving money, and now we are telling you to spend more. But, you might be reselling apparel, and the price per piece is incredibly important to your margin. By adding units to your order, your overall cost will go up, but your price per piece will go down.
