Brand Values

Having Core Values had always been a goal of ours. And yes, we could have started this business with Values. But, we believe you really do not know what your business is until you have spent some time in the ‘trenches’. For example, after 4 years, we rebranded our business. We introduced a completely different logo, created a graphic icon, and changed pretty much everything about our website. Our point is, it can take a little time to know yourself.

Our team spent time evaluating ourselves and exploring what is really important to us. Who are we? Who do we want to be? Who do we want to work with and hire? How do we want to communicate with each other and our clients?

So after months of pulling our hair out, we rolled out our Brand Values in July 2022. We want to share them to give you a little more insight into who Parkway is and what we stand for.

Grow or die.

Continuous improvement. It is about learning, developing, and adapting to the ever-changing environment we live in. Time goes on; things change. Don’t get stuck in the mentality of ‘that is the way things are done.’  Grow mentally, become a better person, and live each day outdoing yesterday.

No jerks allowed.

Being a jerk is not acceptable. We won’t accept jerks as clients, vendors or employees. We will maintain a positive, upbeat, and kind attitude in all things we do. Life is too short.  Just be nice.

Keep it real.

We encourage diversity and authenticity.  Be you. We promote having candid, fact-based, non-emotional communication with our clients and employees.  Accept others’ differences, embrace different points of view, and be open to listening while remaining true to yourself and who you are.

Find a way.

When something does not work, create a way to make it happen.  No whining or complaining.  We are constantly problem-solving.  Instead of harboring about an issue, we focus on finding a solution.  We recognize that there are many ways to achieve an end goal.  Achieving that goal is incredibly more important than the path taken to get there.

Get shit done.

We work with a sense of urgency and minimize downtime.  Quickness and frequency of communication are critical to maximizing efficiency.  If there are any questions, we actively seek the answers in order to continuously keep our foot on the gas.  Look for what needs to be accomplished and take initiative.
