The New Year brings change.

The New Year causes us to reflect on the previous year.  We think about what we can do better.  We think about what we love.  Likewise, we think about what we need to change.  In an effort to continually improve, we are making some changes to our policies to service our clients more efficiently and also create a better workplace for our team.  So, here is what is taking place…

COLOR CHANGES BECOMING DIFFERENT PROJECTS

In the past, we have charged a fee for changing ink colors during the middle of a production run.  But, what we have discovered is that our team ends up making new screens for each color for efficiency.  Thus, we will no longer have color change fees.  If a project requires the same print but in a different color, there will be pricing as though they are separate projects.  Our standard minimum units will be required for each project also.

MINIMUMS WILL BE PER COLOR/STYLE

In 2021, we implemented minimums based on the number of ink colors in a print.  We will begin to require the minimum units to be the same garment color and style.  Unfortunately, with supply chain issues and order entry, projects that had multiple colors across multiple items have caused hardship on our team.  It is just too much to juggle.

If you want 12 shirts, they all need to be the same color.

If you want 50 shirts with a 1-color front logo, each color must have a minimum of 12 units.

DESIGN FEES

In the past, we have sort of winged design fees.  As the team grows, we are working to become more structured in our processes.  So, we have decided to implement flat design fees based on a project requirement.

Please note, if you have print-ready vector artwork, there is absolutely no design fee required.  Also, if you are repeating a print you have already done with us or had us design, there is no fee.

That should do it for now. Please (pretty, please) ask us any questions you might have. We are trying our best to navigate our growth to be as easy for our team and our clients. In any case, let’s kick some ass in 2022!
